The best examples of modern design standout because of an avant-garde use of materials that have never been fashioned exactly as they are before. An example of this is the Lamont table lamp with its intersecting planes of polished, beveled glass. The angling sheets of clear optic crystal are fitted into a brass base treated to a natural brass finish. The reflection of the metal stem rising along the pyramid shape draws the eye to the off-white shantung shade and pointy finial. The 30" tall lamp is included in our Lillian August Collection.
